Camden Internships Spring 2025 - register your interest
In spring 2025, Camden Council will employ 6 Interns for 18 months paid at London Living Wage (£26,000 per year). These opportunities are open to ages 18 to 24. Applicants must be those with Camden care experience.
Internships will be based within various teams at Camden Council, offering good quality placements in a supportive environment to help young people grow and develop their employability skills.

Care experienced and children looked after bulletin - winter 2024
Camden’s children looked after and care leavers service
This service is responsible for providing social work support to children and young people who are looked after by Camden Council and care leavers up to the age of 25. If you were looked after by Camden Council for more than 13 weeks since your 14th birthday and ending after your 16th birthday, you will be entitled to a leaving care service once you reach your 18th birthday. Young Inspectors
Young Inspectors are young people who have experience of having a social worker and of getting support from Camden Family Help and Safeguarding. Young Inspectors undertake research into the views of other service users and professionals about the services provided by partner agencies responsible for safeguarding children.
The Young Inspectors are aged 16 to 25, are selected by interview and are involved in designing and conducting each inspection. The strength of the Young Inspectors is that they can apply their own experiences and knowledge of the service to the inspection. Young Inspectors receive support and training to help them in their role. Here you can read or download their reports:
