Helping us keep Camden clean
The Community Skip is to help residents get rid of household items locally. We have 2 events planned for September 2024.
The first event is in Holborn on 21 September. For this event there will also be an area where you can bring items to swap or give away.
The second event is in West Hampstead on 22 September, as part of Car Free Day. This will be a mini Community Skip event and only accept electrical items; clothes, shoes and textiles; and household batteries.
These events are free for residents of Camden only. Please bring proof of address.
Business waste is not allowed.
Unwanted items will be recycled or disposed of by Veolia.

When the pop-up skips are closed
There are many ways to share, donate or reuse unwanted items in good condition.
Reuse in Camden
You can arrange a collection if you want to throw away a large item, such as furniture, or difficult to handle electrical items, such as a fridge.
Large Item collection
If you live on an estate, you may have a bulky waste store. Please check with your caretaker.
Items that don’t fit in your bin can also be taken to Regis Road Reuse and Recycling Centre
