The high quality teaching and supportive environment at Camden's secondary schools aims to help every student reach their potential. Whether your child's aim is a place at a top university, an excellent apprenticeship or landing a great job, Camden secondary schools are high achieving and ambitious for all students. All of our secondary schools have good or outstanding Ofsted outcomes.

Secondary school Year 7 admissions

We co-ordinate admissions for Year 7 places at Camden secondary schools. We also provide advice on transfers, vacancies and appeals.

  • Applications for Year 7 places for September 2025 have closed (late applications can still be accepted). Parents and carers will be notified of the outcome on 3 March 2025
  • The deadline to apply online for a Year 7 place for 2026 is 31 October 2025

Your child will be due to start secondary school in September 2026 if they were born between 1 September 2014 and 31 August 2015. You can submit a late application for September 2025 by using the button below.

Meet the Parents - informal forums for parents 

Meet the Parents run events for parents of primary pupils who are moving up to secondary school. These informal forums allow parents and carers to ask frank questions from other families. This includes current secondary students and their parents. You can combine this with getting information directly from schools at their official open events.
