Winners of the Camden Youth Awards 2021 have been announced - with the release of a specially-produced film, featuring interviews with this year's award recipients - including young people and youth workers who have overcome significant personal and professional challenges over the last year.
The Camden Youth Awards is the borough's annual ceremony, organised and hosted by the Council's Integrated Youth Support Service, where we share the achievements of the borough's young people and youth services.
The past 12 months have been very different to normal and we felt that this year, more than ever, we should showcase and celebrate the achievements of the borough's young people and local youth services, who have all worked under extremely challenging circumstances to support each other.
A virtual awards event took place on Zoom on 27 April 2021, which was the premiere of the awards film, showcasing our winners, and also a chance to celebrate the amazing achievements of our young people, youth workers and youth provision over the most extraordinarily tough year.
The film was put together by award-winning documentary filmmaker Suzanne Cohen and it features the winners accepting their awards and speaking about the challenges they have faced and overcome.
