Event for girls and young women will celebrate International Women’s Day 2024 - Camden Rise

Girls and young women aged 11 to 18 (up to 25 with special educational needs or disabilities) are invited to a free day of activities on Saturday 9 March, from 11am to 4pm, to celebrate International Women’s Day 2024.

The event is at Somers Town Youth Centre, 134 Chalton Street, NW1 1RX, and is hosted by Camden's Integrated Youth Support Service. Lunch will be provided.

Free activities on the day will include clay modelling, jewellery making, hair braiding, self-defence, baking, T-shirt printing, Chinese calligraphy, steel pans and meet our special guests:

• Actor, comedian and writer Andi Osho
• Former TV producer turned zero waste food entrepreneur Anshu Ahuja, of Dabba Drop.

The theme for International Women's Day 2024 this year is 'Inspire Inclusion' - so come along to be inspired, recognise and celebrate female achievements, have fun and make new friends.
