Join an exciting Family Day at the British Library from 12 to 4pm on Saturday 24 September (drop-in anytime), run in British Sign Language and spoken English.
Make, touch, sign and explore, as we create, share and celebrate stories. This event is fully accessible for families with D/deaf children, parents and carers.
The day, which is suitable for children and young people of all ages, will include activities inspired by books and the joy of storytelling, run by author Brian Kokoruwe, the British Library, British Museum, Camden Family Learning, Camden Speech and Language Team, Foundling Museum, Frank Barnes School for Deaf Children, Holborn Community Association, Jewish Museum, London Fire Bridge Community Safety Team, Maths on Toast, National Deaf Children's Society, North London Deaf Children's Society, October Gallery, Origami Society, SOAS University of London, The Postal Museum, University of Bath.
The event is held in partnership with the British Library, Camden Council’s Family Learning Team, the British Museum and Frank Barnes School for Deaf Children.
