Free and low-cost February half-term activities in Camden - Camden Rise

It's half-term week from 17 to 21 February - check out free and low-cost activities for children and young people of all ages happening near you.

• Sports and physical activities. Including Active Wednesday, which is free and taking place at Talacre Community Sports Centre, Dalby Street NW5 3AF, for boys and girls aged 11 to 17, with trampolining, cricket, tennis, table tennis, football, basketball and more (email [email protected]); Arsenal in the Community free football coaching for girls and boys aged 12 to 14 at Cantelowes Gardens, Camden Road, NW5 2AU, from 19 to 21 February, 10am to 1pm each day; children swim for £1 every day during the school holidays before 10am at Camden Better Leisure centres with Kids Swim for a Quid; Multi-sports Holiday Scheme, for ages 8 to 12, and Mini Gymnastics Holiday Camp, for ages 4 to 7 years, both running at the Talacre Centre from 17 to 21 February and both offering 40 free places for children who are eligible for free school meals. Find out more and book your places or email [email protected]
• Half Term Holiday Camp – Haverstock Ward. A fantastic opportunity for local children to have fun, stay active, and make new friends with Pro Touch SA community sports academy. Runs from 17 to 20 February, 10am to 2pm, at Haverstock School, 24 Haverstock Hill, NW3 2BQ for boys and girls aged 6 to 14 (must live in Haverstock Ward). • Half Term Holiday Camp - Bourne Estate. Join Pro Touch SA community sports academy for an action-packed programme at Bourne Estate, Portpool Lane, EC1N 7UL, from 17 to 20 February, 10am to 2pm. Free multi-sports activities, including football, dodgeball, mini-tennis, fitness, speed and agility exercises, football-tennis, skipping, and more! Plus, fun sports challenges with prizes. • Introduction to Live Painting at Lauderdale House. Free art workshop on Thursday 20 February, from 2pm to 4pm. Fresh at Lauderdale House youth project, is offering young people aged 13 to 19 the chance to learn how to ‘live paint’ with artist Dora Lam.
